Clark, 29, is signing a one-year contract worth up to $7.5 million, according to Schultz. The deal includes $5.5 million guaranteed, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Kansas City Chiefs released Clark in March in a move that cleared $21 million in cap space, according to Spotrac. The veteran defensive end was set to enter his final year of a restructured extension worth close to $30 million before he was cut.

Clark has 131 quarterback hits, 67 tackles for loss, 58.5 career sacks, and 14 forced fumbles in 120 career games.

The three-time Pro Bowler has also shined in the postseason, recording 20 QB hits, 16 TFLs, and 13.5 sacks while being part of two Super Bowl-winning teams.

Denver bolsters its pass-rushing corps with a veteran addition in Clark. He joins a rotation that features Randy Gregory, Baron Browning, and Zach Allen.
