Report: Jets trading Mims to Lions

The New York Jets are trading wide receiver Denzel Mims to the Detroit Lions, reports Connor Hughes of SNY.
The Lions will also acquire a 2025 seventh-round pick in exchange for a conditional sixth-round selection, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
New York informed the 25-year-old pass-catcher that he’d be waived if the team failed to find a trade partner, a source told ESPN’s Rich Cimini. The Jets previously discussed a potential Mims trade with the Dallas Cowboys, reports Josina Anderson of CBS Sports.
