Report: 49ers’ Bosa gets record 5-year, $170M deal to end holdout

San Francisco 49ers star pass-rusher Nick Bosa is set to become the NFL’s highest-paid defender after agreeing to terms on a five-year, $170-million extension, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The 25-year-old, who’d been holding out in an effort to reach a new contract, will reportedly get $122.5 million guaranteed. He also lands the biggest contract ever given to a non-quarterback with an annual average salary of $34 million, surpassing the three-year, $95-million extension Aaron Donald signed in June 2022.
Bosa was entering the final year of his rookie contract, which would’ve paid out $17.8 million in 2023, per Spotrac.
The Niners are expected to waive all the fines that Bosa
