Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo passed his physical and is expected to open training camp with the team, league sources tell The Athletic. ESPN was first to report the news. Here’s what you need to know:
Garoppolo had been rehabbing from offseason foot surgery and wasn’t an on-the-field participant during OTAs.
The former 49ers quarterback suffered a left foot injury late last season. The Athletic previously reported Garoppolo had surgery in March after agreeing to a three-year deal with the Raiders.
