Raiders’ Davante Adams suffers apparent leg injury in joint practice with 49ers
HENDERSON, Nev. — On the first snap of 11-on-11 drills Friday, Las Vegas Raiders receiver Davante Adams went to make a short catch over the middle and was laid out by San Francisco 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward. When Adams stayed down on the field in pain afterward, players and coaches from both teams immediately huddled around him.
Adams was obviously in discomfort when he was eventually helped to his feet by the Raiders’ training staff. He needed assistance to make it to the sideline but was then able to stand under his own power while a trainer started to examine his right leg.
