1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Pocket Vector, developed by Moo Jin Park, handles information when you use the app. It is effective July 21, 2026.
Questions about this policy or Pocket Vector's privacy practices may be sent to andy@gridironchronicle.com.
2. Data Pocket Vector Collects
Pocket Vector collects the following information to provide and protect its game functionality:
- Gameplay Content: saved progress, completed runs, scores, attempts, completions, accuracy, touchdowns, achievements, settings, cosmetic selections, inventory, unlocks, and coin balances.
- User ID: an app profile UUID, an opaque private-iCloud account binding, and a Game Center player identifier after Game Center authentication.
- Device ID: a randomly generated app-installation identifier used for synchronization and conflict resolution. It is not IDFA, a hardware serial number, or an advertising identifier.
- Purchase History: the StoreKit product identifier, StoreKit transaction identifier, purchased coin quantity, delivery status, and durable-ledger information used to prevent duplicate grants.
- Product Interaction: saved progression, run history, equipped-item selections, catalog ownership, and cosmetic-unlock interactions.
- Optional Support Information: any information you voluntarily include in an email requesting assistance.
3. How Data Is Used
The information listed above is used only for App Functionality, including:
- saving and restoring progress;
- private cross-device synchronization;
- achievements and leaderboard functionality;
- purchase verification and exactly-once coin delivery;
- fraud and duplicate-credit prevention;
- profile isolation and conflict resolution; and
- responding to voluntary support requests.
The current build does not use this information for:
- third-party advertising;
- developer advertising or marketing;
- analytics;
- product personalization;
- tracking; or
- sharing with data brokers.
Gameplay Content, User ID, Device ID, Purchase History, and Product Interaction are linked to your private profile so Pocket Vector can provide the functionality described above. These five App Store data categories are not used for tracking.
4. Apple Services
Pocket Vector uses the following Apple services:
- Apple CloudKit for private iCloud game storage and synchronization.
- Apple Game Center for authentication, leaderboard scores, and achievements.
- Apple StoreKit for coin-pack purchases.
Apple processes payment-card, bank, billing, and payment-method information. Pocket Vector never receives or stores those payment details.
Pocket Vector does retain StoreKit product and transaction identifiers and the corresponding coin-ledger results in private CloudKit so each purchase can be delivered exactly once.
Service providers that process information in connection with Pocket Vector are required to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable law.
5. Data Not Collected
The current build does not collect precise or coarse location, contacts, photos, videos, audio recordings, health or fitness data, browsing history, search history, sensitive information, advertising data, payment-card information, or IDFA.
6. Data Retention
- Local data remains on your device until the app or its stored data is removed.
- Synchronized progress remains in your private iCloud storage until it is removed through the applicable iCloud or data-deletion process.
- Purchase-ledger identifiers may be retained as necessary to prevent duplicate coin grants and preserve transaction integrity.
- Voluntary support messages are used only to respond and are retained only as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and maintain required records.
7. Deletion and Privacy Choices
Pocket Vector does not create a separate developer-operated user account, so there is no separate Pocket Vector account to close.
- Deleting the app removes its local application data.
- Private CloudKit data may remain in your iCloud storage.
- You may email andy@gridironchronicle.com for assistance managing or deleting Pocket Vector data associated with iCloud.
- Game Center and App Store purchase-history controls are also available through Apple.
8. Security
Pocket Vector uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These include private CloudKit storage, account isolation, and transaction-integrity controls intended to prevent duplicate purchase delivery and unauthorized access. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children's Privacy
Pocket Vector is not directed to children under the minimum applicable age and does not knowingly collect personal contact information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information improperly should contact andy@gridironchronicle.com.
10. Policy Changes
This policy may be updated as Pocket Vector or applicable requirements change. When it is updated, the effective date above will change. Material changes will be communicated through this page or within the application where appropriate.
