Patriots CB Jack Jones agrees to probation deal to have gun charges dropped

New England Patriots cornerback Jack Jones agreed to one year of probation and 48 hours of community service as part of a deal where the state of Massachusetts dropped the gun charges against him.
Jones was arrested in June and faced 10 gun charges after state police said Jones brought two loaded, unregistered guns to Boston Logan Airport and tried to bring them through TSA screening.
But in the deal, called a nolle prosequi, the Suffolk District Attorney’s Office wrote that it “thoroughly reviewed all the evidence in this case and determined that it cannot be proven beyond a reasonable…
