Mahomes to bank $210.6M over 4 years with restructured deal

The Kansas City Chiefs and quarterback Patrick Mahomes have agreed on a restructured deal that will guarantee him $210.6 million between 2023 and 2026, his agency told Adam Schefter of ESPN.
It’s the most money in NFL history guaranteed over a four-year span. The two sides will revisit the deal after the 2026 season, Schefter adds.
Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, Justin Herbert, and Joe Burrow all signed lucrative deals this offseason, which eclipsed the guaranteed money Mahomes signed in 2020. Mahomes’ original contract only fully guaranteed him $141.4 million, according to
