Bridgewater most recently played for the Dolphins, starting two games and appearing in five last season. He previously played for the Vikings, Saints, Panthers and Broncos.
His best season came in 2015, leading Minnesota to the NFC North title before losing to the Seahawks in the opening round. Bridgewater made the Pro Bowl after throwing for 3,231 yards with 14 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
