Kamara suspended 3 games for role in 2022 Las Vegas incident

The NFL announced Friday that it suspended New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara for three games for his role in a fight outside a Las Vegas nightclub in 2022, according to Albert Breer of TheMMQB.
Kamara reached a plea agreement in July and no longer faces a felony charge for the incident that took place before the Pro Bowl in February 2022.
The 28-year-old addressed the incident to the media on Friday before the suspension was announced.
“I was completely wrong. I embarrassed the Saints, I embarrassed my family and my mother. I embarrassed myself, embarrassed the city, and the shield, obviously, embarrassed the NFL,” Kamara said, according to NFL.com.
