Hill under police investigation for alleged altercation at Miami marina

Miami-Dade police are investigating Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill for allegedly hitting an employee at a marina in Florida, the department confirmed to Ian Margol of Local 10 News on Tuesday.
Hill got into a disagreement and allegedly hit an employee working for one of the charter companies based at Haulover Marina, Margol reports.
The incident started when Hill’s crew tried boarding a boat without permission, according to Andy Slater of Fox Sports 640. The crew member reportedly doesn’t want to press charges at the moment.
“We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Tyreek, his representatives, and the NFL,” a Dolphins spokesperson said. “We will reserve further comment at this time.”
Hill shared an Instagram story over the weekend showing him on a boat celebrating Father’s Day.
The 29-year-old is entering his second season with Miami. Hill caught seven touchdowns and led the Dolphins with 119 receptions and 1,710 yards in 2022.
