Cardinals release Colt McCoy, will leave Kyler Murray on PUP list: Sources

The Arizona Cardinals have released veteran backup quarterback Colt McCoy and will keep starter Kyler Murray on the reserve/physically unable to perform list, team sources said Monday. Here’s what you need to know:
By being on the PUP list, Murray will be out for at least the first four games of the 2023 regular season.
