Browns CB Greg Newsome says he was not robbed at gunpoint despite reports

In his first time speaking to the public since the incident, Browns cornerback Greg Newsome said Saturday that he wasn’t robbed at gunpoint earlier this month when his truck was stolen.
Newsome said he was waiting inside for friends when the robbery occurred. He explained that his truck was recovered and his friends were not harmed.
“I’m just super grateful,” the cornerback said about their safety.
Newsome also clarified that he was never face to face with any of the men in the robbery.
